What You Need to Know about Financial Exploitation
Join us on February 20 for a presentation by Jeff O'Kelley on the growing number of causes of action for financial exploitation. This presentation will take an in-depth dive into financial exploitation, including not only an overview of the cause of action but also social issues underlying an increased emphasis on elder abuse and recent changes to the law. Finer points and procedures will be addressed, as well as broader explanations, hypotheticals, and issue-spotting. Important Note: Elections for the 2024 NWSEPC Board of Directors will be held before the start of the meeting. The meeting will be held in the 5th-floor conference room, Suite 500 in the Greenspoint Office Park building at 2800 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates.
